The Cursillo does not aim at getting the best people to become Christians, nor that Christians become better, but that Christians to be Christian. That they understand that being a conscious Christian means being converted at all times. All this so that they gradually get to discover, from the very place where God has planted them, that God in Christ loves us.

The Archdiocese of Louisville was introduced to the Cursillo Movement in 1964, when a team of Cursillistas from Cincinnati, Ohio, traveled to the Derby City to host its first Cursillo weekend. Since then, the Louisville movement has remained both vibrant and life-changing.
